NIGHT DUTY REGISTERED OR ENROLLED NURSE
PERMANENT PART TIME POSITION
Stirling Hospital is an acute surgical non-for-profit private hospital located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. The hospital provides many different speciality services to the local community.
An opportunity has become available to join our highly dedicated and specialised team to deliver the “Stirling Experience” to our valued patients. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse for night duty shifts.
You will have:
- Sound clinical knowledge and exceptional time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Essential requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Evidence of a minimum of 3 years recent clinical practice in acute surgical nursing
- Evidence of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccination in line with the requirements of the Emergency Management (COVID-19) (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination No 5) Direction 2021
- A satisfactory Working with Children check prior to employment
- Australian citizen or current VISA

WARD / THEATRE CLERK
PERMANENT PART TIME POSITION
We are seeking a highly motivated person to support the clinical teams to deliver the “Stirling Experience” to the community. This is a shared part-time role between both the theatre and ward reception departments.
You will have:
- Previous administration experience within healthcare services
- Exceptional communication skills
- Computer skills and be competent with Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of hospital administrations systems
- Attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to prioritise calls/emails
- Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment and able to work independently
- Data management skills
Essential requirements include:
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferable)
- Evidence of TGA approved COVID-19 vaccination + booster
- Satisfactory Working with Children certificate prior to employment
- Australian citizen or current VISA
- Successful pre-employment check

PRE-ADMISSION COORDINATOR
PERMANENT PART TIME POSITION
Stirling Hospital is seeking a Permanent Part-time (0.7 FTE) Pre-Admission Coordinator to lead our team in delivering this valuable service to our patients
About the role
The Pre-Admission Coordinator oversees the daily operation of the pre-admission clinic. They are responsible for ensuring the effective assessment, planning, implementation and coordination of care for surgical patients from pre-admission to discharge. The Pre-admission Clinic assists to provide a positive experience and outcome for patients Specialists and the organisation.
Acting as the liaison between Visiting Medical Officers, Clinical Staff, patients and their families. This role maintains and communicates current best practice knowledge in risk screening, preparation and optimisation of patients pre-surgery.

- Recent experience working within a surgical specialty area
- Registered with AHPRA as a Registered / Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership position
- Advanced knowledge of pre and post-surgical processes
- A desire to lead and motivate a team
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others
